The Health Careers degree at Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é offers students many opportunities. Students can transfer to one of many 4-year programs in the healthcare field, including Nursing, Radiology, Dental Technology, Fitness & Nutrition, Cardiology, Anesthesiology, Medical Assisting, Audiology and Health Care Administration. 

Many graduates chose to enter Nursing programs leading to an Associate Degree in Nursing (AND) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Others successfully launched careers as Licensed Practical Nurses, Dental Hygienists, Physical Therapy Assistants, Occupational Therapy Assistants, Respiratory Therapists, etc.

MassTransfer  - Through the MassTransfer program, your health careers degree has the following benefits: The program meets the MassTransfer General Education Foundation:    

MassTransfer’s A2B (associate to bachelors) benefits will also be awarded to students upon completing their program, however students may have additional courses to complete depending on their major at the four-year college/university.

Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é also has specific transfer agreements that allows for seamless transfer upon completion of your health careers degree at Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é: 

• Northeastern University College of Professional Studies A2M Program:
• Emerson College: Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é Health Careers majors transfer to Emersons B.S in Communication Sciences and Disorders 

As a result of completing the health careers program at Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é and all the assigned work, the graduate of this program will be able to: 

1. Demonstrate more effective study skills and work habits,
2. Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills,
3. Demonstrate great facility with aspects of modern technology including: numeric and non-numeric computation, effective search of the appropriate data bases, effective use of a modern college library, etc.,
4. Demonstrate the ability to apply the knowledge gained toward the successful completion of a Bachelor degree program in the fields outlined above.
