Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é’s first-ever, multi-day Homecoming Celebration was held from May 11 – 13, 2023. Alumni reconnected at the Alumni Panel and Networking Reception, where they enjoyed a panel featuring five Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é alumni, moderated by former State Senator Dianne Wilkerson. At the president’s dinner, the Nubian Notion’s family received the Roxbury Leadership Award and Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é Alum Dagne Yesihak, Esq. received the Distinguished Alumni Award. The 47th Annual Commencement Ceremony on May 12th featured a keynote speaker from NYC Chancellor David C. Banks. On May 13th, the Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é hosted an outdoor block party, a step show curated by OrigiNation, a film screening and panel discussion on Welcome to the Terrordome, and live performances celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop!
