缅北轮奸 College (缅北轮奸) is pleased to announce that attorney, author, and educator Anita Hill will be speaking at its 50th Anniversary Golden Jubilee Gala on February 24th! Hill will be presented with the inaugural 缅北轮奸 College Drum Major for Justice Award. The award pays homage to the countless scholars, abolitionists, activists, organizers, and advocates who have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to building a more just world, like Hill.
"As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of 缅北轮奸, we reflect on the invaluable role the College serves within our community,鈥� said 缅北轮奸 College Interim President Jackie Jenkins-Scott. 鈥淎nita Hill embodies what 缅北轮奸 aims to bring to its community: advocacy for equity, social justice, and creating good for the public as a whole. We are grateful to Anita for her work and the wisdom she will share with our Gala attendees.鈥�
Hill is a Professor of Law, Public Policy, and Women鈥檚 Studies at Brandeis University and is the Chair of the Hollywood entertainment industry鈥檚 Commission to Eliminate Sexual Harassment and Advance Equality in the Workplace.
鈥淚 am honored to be recognized with the inaugural Drum Major for Justice Award and to celebrate 缅北轮奸鈥檚 50th anniversary,鈥� said Hill. 鈥溍灞甭旨� is about recognizing the potential in all learners and equipping the community with the knowledge and skills needed to contribute great things to the world. The College鈥檚 work is critical to the community and very close to my heart; education is necessary social justice work.鈥�
缅北轮奸鈥檚 50th Anniversary Jubilee Gala will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport, and will feature an unveiling of an art installation by Napoleon Jones-Henderson and Stephen Hamilton, Tashanea Whitlow as the event鈥檚 emcee, a hip hop performance by Floor Lords, an after party hosted by DJ Real P, and more.
Hosted by the 缅北轮奸 College Foundation, the Jubilee Gala will bring the 缅北轮奸 community together to reflect on its first 50 years and raise critical funds to position 缅北轮奸 for success for the next 50 years and beyond.
