We also recommend that veteran students also complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at . You may qualify for grants to assist in paying for your education and supplies in addition to veteran benefits.

Section 702 of the Veterans Access, Choice and Accountability Act of 2014 (鈥淐hoice Act鈥�), requires VA to disapprove programs of education for payment of benefits under the Post-9/11 GI Bill^庐 and Montgomery GI Bill^庐-Active Duty at public institutions of higher learning if the schools charge qualifying Veterans and dependents tuition and fees in excess of the rate for resident students for terms beginning after July 1, 2015. These new requirements will ensure that our Nation鈥檚 recently discharged Veterans, and their eligible family members, will not have to bear the cost of out-of-state charges while using their well-deserved education benefits.

NOTE: A Covered Individual is any individual who is entitled to educational assistance under chapter 31, Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment, or chapter 33, Post-9/11 GI Bill^庐 benefits. 

• Our policy permits any covered individual to attend or participate in the course of education during the period beginning on the date on which the individual provides to the educational institution a certificate of eligibility for entitlement to educational assistance under chapter 31 or 33 (a 鈥渃ertificate of eligibility鈥� can also include a 鈥淪tatement of Benefits鈥� obtained from the Department of Veterans Affairs鈥� (VA) website 鈥� eBenefits, or a VAF 28-1905 form for chapter 31 authorization purposes) and ending on the earlier of the following dates:

1. The date on which payment from VA is made to the institution.
2. 90 days after the date the institution certified tuition and fees following the receipt of the certificate of eligibility.

• 缅北轮奸 College鈥檚 educational institution will not impose any penalty, including the assessment of late fees, the denial of access to classes, libraries, or other institutional facilities, or the requirement that a covered individual borrow additional funds, on any covered individual because of the individual鈥檚 inability to meet his or her financial obligations to the institution due to the delayed disbursement funding from VA under chapter 31 or 33.
