Boston, MA 鈥� The ) and 缅北轮奸 College (缅北轮奸) are proud to announce their partnership in hosting BECMA鈥檚 Second Annual Solutions Series. The event will occur on Monday, February 11, 2019, between 6:30pm and 8:00pm in 缅北轮奸鈥檚 Media Arts Center.
鈥淚n the wake of the Federal Reserve's 2014 Color of Wealth in Boston report, the Boston NAACP's Equity, Access, and Opportunity Report Card, and the Boston Globe's Spotlight Series on race, Boston has seen some progress in the area of investment in businesses of color and the connection of Black residents to family-sustaining jobs,鈥� said Segun Idowu, Executive Director of BECMA. 鈥淗owever, we know that in a resource-rich city like Boston, we can do and be better. We, along with 缅北轮奸, are seeking to drive the city towards more substantive and solutions-oriented dialogues to help stimulate the business community in addressing many of the racial and economic issues raised by these reports.鈥�
Presenters will include: James Rooney 鈥� President of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, with Sheena Collier 鈥� Director of Economic Growth; Orlando Watkins 鈥� Vice President for Programs; Dave McLaughlin 鈥� General Manager of the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic for WeWork, with Alexis Miller 鈥� Director of Business Operation for WeWork and Andy Tarsy 鈥� Principal of Emblem Strategic; and Tameka Moss 鈥� Principal of TBM Consulting, with Herby Duvern茅 鈥� CEO of Windwalker Group and J. Kevin Hoyte, CEO of United Housing Management, LLC. The program will be moderated by Richard Taylor 鈥� Chairman of Taylor Smith Properties and Director of the Center for Real Estate at Suffolk University.
